Jacket is not price clipped and is in a protective wrapper. Grey end papers. Red colour page top edges - very faded. Includes: prologue; 4 parts; notes and sources; index; illustrations. The four parts are: southern girl; the twenties; breaking down; going home. Illustrations - 16 pages of photo plates. Thick book - over 400 pages. Surface marks/ stains to a few pages but text is unaffected. Tear to two page front edges. Binding is okay but inner hinges cracked so spine rolls/ leans/ book feels loose. Discoloured page edges. Very discoloured and soiled jacket/ protective wrapper (a smoker?). Board edges rubbed. Book weighs nearly 1kg so expect to pay a bit more for shipping than the default price quoted. #151.10, Books.
