Genotypes with high mean performance for seed yield along with other traits were exhibited by RGC 986, RGC 936, RGC 1031, HG 258 and RGC 1066. These genotypes could be utilized in future programme in order to get superior varieties. The results from character association indicated that seed yield per plant had significant and positive correlation with other contributing character. Genetic divergence analysis revealed that genotypes could be grouped into 6 clusters. The cluster I was the largest and consisted of 16 genotypes followed by cluster II with 10 genotypes and cluster III, IV, V and VI had solitary genotype.
