The third part presents the simulation results and performance evaluation of energy efficient spectrum sensing methods mentioned in the second part. The fourth part gives the guidelines and steps should be followed for hardware implementation of the spectrum sensing methods using Altera-Cyclone family Field Programmable Gate Array boards with Quartus II as software design tool.
