The effects of slope and crop on runoff, runoff coefficient, CN (Curve Number) and on soil washout were studied. The observed runoff as compared to estimated runoff by CN method in months June and July under cotton and groundnut crops were found higher which shows crop cover has negligible effect on observed runoff.
