His début collection of stories, Free-Falling Man, was published in 2006, followed by a second collection, Never Been Better, in 2009 (which was longlisted for the 2010 Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award), and a third, Under the Sun. His latest collection of stories, The Rest of Your Life and Everything That Comes With It, published in 2011, was longlisted for the 2012 Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award. He lives in Singapore.
